One of our founders, Amanda Baron, was recently featured in an article exploring why more younger Canadians are embracing prenups.

In the piece, Amanda challenges the outdated Hollywood stereotype of the wealthy man asking his wife-to-be to sign a prenup to protect his fortune. That narrative, she explains, doesn’t reflect the reality for most Canadians today. For one, women earn significantly more today than they did in the 1990s relative to men, and many enter relationships with their own assets, careers, and financial independence.

Prenups and cohabitation agreements are no longer about one-sided protection. They’re about two financially independent partners creating clarity and fairness from the start.
