Jointly Referral Program Terms

Effective: October 27, 2026

These terms apply to the Jointly Referral Program (the “Program”) offered by Jointly Solutions Ltd. (“Jointly”, “we”, “us”). By sharing a referral link or using one, you agree to these terms.

How it works

Every Jointly account holder has a personal referral link, found on the Refer a Friend page in their dashboard.
When a friend creates a new Jointly account through your link, they get 10% off their first Jointly agreement.
When your friend pays for their agreement, you earn a $25 digital gift card. We send it 30 days after their payment, as long as the payment has not been refunded or disputed.

Who can refer

Anyone with a Jointly account can refer friends.
If you have not yet paid for a Jointly agreement yourself, you can earn a maximum of one gift card. Once you have paid for your own agreement, you can earn more, up to the annual limit below.
You can earn a maximum of 10 gift cards in any 12-month period.

Who counts as a referred friend

To qualify, your friend must:

Create a new Jointly account using your referral link. Existing Jointly accounts cannot be referred.
Pay for their first agreement within 12 months of creating their account.
Not be you. Referring yourself, including through a second email address or account, is not allowed.
Not be a party to an agreement you are a party to. Your partner or spouse on a Jointly agreement does not count as a referral.

Referrals are tracked only through referral links. We cannot add a referral after a friend has signed up or paid, including if they forgot to use your link.

The friend’s discount

The 10% discount applies automatically at checkout to the referred friend’s first Jointly agreement purchase.
The discount applies to the price before tax.
It cannot be combined with any other promo code, discount or offer.
It has no cash value and cannot be applied to a past purchase.

The referrer’s gift card

Gift cards are $25 CAD and delivered by email through our gift card partner, Giftogram. You can choose from a selection of Canadian retailers.
Gift cards are sent 30 days after your friend’s payment. If the payment is refunded (in whole or in part), charged back or disputed before then, no gift card is earned.
Gift cards are subject to Giftogram’s terms and the terms of the retailer you choose. Jointly is not responsible for lost, stolen or expired gift cards once delivered.
Gift cards have no cash value from Jointly and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or Jointly services.
If your Jointly account is closed before a gift card is sent, the gift card is forfeited.

Sharing your link

Share your link with people you know, by email, text, messaging apps or your own social media. You may not:

post your link on coupon, deal, cashback or discount websites
use paid advertising to promote your link, including search ads using the Jointly name
send unsolicited bulk messages or spam
misrepresent Jointly, its services or this Program

You are responsible for following anti-spam laws, including Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), when you share your link.

Privacy

Using Jointly is personal, so we keep referrals private.

We never tell you who used your link. Your dashboard shows only how many friends have bought and how many gift cards are pending or sent.
We share your name and email address with Giftogram only to deliver your gift card.
We use referral information, including sign-up IP address, to track referrals and prevent fraud, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Fraud and abuse

We may review, withhold or cancel any discount or gift card, or disable any referral link, if we believe in good faith that these terms have been broken or the Program has been misused. This includes self-referrals, fake accounts, duplicate accounts, and referral activity that is unusually high or unusual in pattern. Our decisions on eligibility are final.

Changes to the Program

We may change these terms or end the Program at any time. Changes apply from the date they are posted on this page. Rewards already earned before the Program ends will still be honoured, unless they were earned in breach of these terms.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
The Program is void where prohibited by law.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
